Omschrijving
De in de achtertuin van nummer 79 gelegen PAARDENSTALLING is tegelijkertijd met de cottage als dubbel woonhuis, ontworpen door architect H.C. Elzinga.
De paardenstalling heeft een rechthoekige vorm, waarvan de lange zijde evenwijdig aan het hoofdgebouw is gesitueerd. het bestaat uit één bouwlaag met rieten zadeldak. De muren bestaan uit baksteen met een zwart geschilderde plint.
In de symmetrische, witgeverfde voorgevel (westzijde) bevinden zich drie hoge en brede houten deuren, waarop boven elkaar twee zandlopermotieven zijn geschilderd. Boven de deuren is een halfrond bovenlicht met spaakvormige roedenverdeling aangebracht. Deur met bovenlicht steken door de onderrand van de kap.
De blinde achtergevel is verder identiek aan de voorgevel.
In de topgevel van de verder blinde kopgevel bevindt zich een klein vierkant venster met roedenverdeling.
Waardering
De vrijstaande paardenstal is van algemeen belang vanwege zijn architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf voorbeeld van een paardenstal met invloeden van het Engelse landhuis en de Amsterdamse School. De paardenstalling bezit ensemble waarde als onderdeel van het complex.

The HORSE STABLE located in the back garden of number 79 was designed at the same time as the cottage as a double dwelling, by architect H.C. Elzinga.
The horse stable has a rectangular form, of which the long side is situated parallel to the main building. It consists of one storey with thatched gabled roof. The walls consist of brick with a black painted plinth.
In the symmetrical, whitewashed front facade (west side) are three tall and wide wooden doors, on which two hourglass motifs are painted one above the other. Above the doors is a semicircular fanlight with spoke-shaped glazing bars. Door with fanlight project through the lower edge of the roof.
The blind rear facade is otherwise identical to the front facade.
In the gable end of the otherwise blind side gable is a small square window with glazing bars.
Assessment
The freestanding horse stable is of general importance because of its architectural-historical value as an intact example of a horse stable with influences from the English country house and the Amsterdam School. The horse stable has ensemble value as part of the complex.
