Omschrijving
Smeedijzeren TOEGANGSHEK, vermoedelijk uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw geplaatst aan de Amersfoortseweg. Het hek bestaat uit twee vleugels tussen verticale stijlen met voluutvormige wangen. De draaiende delen zijn vermoedelijk later met een smalle travee verlengd. Hierin is met goud geschilderde letters de naam 'Vinkenhoef' verwerkt.
De verticale stijlen bestaan uit opengewerkt smeedijzeren krullen binnen een rechthoekig vlak. De vleugels bestaan grotendeels uit verticale spijlen met een bolvormige speerpunt. Aan de uiteinden van de vleugels bevindt zich vergelijkbaar smeedijzeren krulwerk als in de verticale stijlen.
Waardering
Het smeedijzeren tiegangshek, vermoedelijk uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw daterend, is van algemeen belang vanwege zijn architectuurhistorische waarde als goed voorbeeld van een smeedijzeren hekwerk, waarin rechte spijlen worden afgewisseld met voluutvormige gewalste smeedijzeren krullen.

Description
Wrought iron ENTRANCE GATE, presumably from the second half of the 19th century placed on the Amersfoortseweg. The gate consists of two wings between vertical posts with volute-shaped cheeks. The rotating parts have presumably been extended later with a narrow bay. In this, the name 'Vinkenhoef' is incorporated with gold-painted letters.
The vertical posts consist of open-worked wrought iron scrolls within a rectangular field. The wings consist largely of vertical spikes with a spherical spearhead. At the ends of the wings there is comparable wrought iron scrollwork as in the vertical posts.
Valuation
