Voormalige TUINMANSWONING met garage. Ten zuidwesten van het huis ligt de voormalige tuinmanswoning uit omstreeks 1937. Het gebouw is mogelijke een ontwerp van M.A, van Nieukerken. Gedeeltelijk onderkelderd gebouw op L-vormige plattegrond, opgetrokken van rode baksteen onder ingezwenkte, met riet gedekte schilddaken, die elkaar snijden. Dakkapellen onder een doorlopende rietlaag. Schoorsteen op de nok van de zuidelijke kap en een houten klokkenstoel onder tentdakje op de nok van de noordelijke kap. Witgeschilderde houten gelobte lijst onder de dakrand (met uitzondering van de noord- en de westgevel van de garage). De voorgevel is symmetrisch van indeling. Voordeur met bovenlicht geflankeerd door schuiframen met roedeverdeling en luiken. Rechterzijgevel met twee schuifvensters met luiken in het woongedeelte; een opgeklampte deur met korfboogvormige rollaag geeft toegang tot de garage. Hiernaast een vierruitsvenster met bovenlicht. Description
Former GARDENER'S COTTAGE with garage. To the south-west of the house lies the former gardener's cottage dating from approximately 1937. The building is possibly a design by M.A. van Nieukerken. Partly cellared building on an L-shaped plan, constructed of red brick under set-back, reed-thatched hipped roofs intersecting each other. Roof dormers under a continuous thatch layer. Chimney on the ridge of the southern roof and a wooden bell-cote under a tent roof on the ridge of the northern roof. White painted wooden lobate moulding under the eaves (except for the north and west facades of the garage). The front facade is symmetrical in arrangement. Front door with fanlight flanked by sash windows with glazing bars and shutters. Right side facade with two sash windows with shutters in the residential section; a fastened door with basket-arch shaped roller door provides access to the garage. Adjacent to this a four-pane window with fanlight. Left side facade with three windows with shutters of unequal size in the residential section and in the recessed section, in which the garage is located, a panelled door with four-pane window and windows of unequal dimensions. The rear facade of the garage is blank; that of the residential house has a door. The layout of the interior dates largely from the time of construction. To be noted are the terrazzo floor in the hall, the wooden staircase to the upper storey and the original doors.
