Tot het landgoed Nimmerdor behoort een kleine DIENSTWONING, gelegen ten noorden van en direct aan het begin van de oprijlaan naar het voormalige hoofdgebouw van het landgoed. Het pand is naast het koetshuis gesitueerd, pal aan de Arnhemseweg. Een ondiepe tuin met hekwerk scheidt de woning van de weg. Mogelijkerwijs werd het gebouw bewoond door een portier, tuinman of koetsier. De woning is omstreeks 1850 te dateren en heeft sindsdien geen ingrijpende wijzigingen ondergaan.
Het eenvoudige gebouw kent een rechthoekige plattegrond met in hoofdzaak één bouwlaag en een afgeplat schilddak, gedekt met zinken losanges. Op het afgeplatte deel zijn twee schoorstenen geplaatst. De kap wordt aan de zuidzijde doorbroken door een middenrisaliet van twee bouwlagen met plat dak.
De gevels van de hoofdmassa zijn voorzien van pleisterwerk, waarin horizontale lijnen zijn aangebracht. De middenrisaliet is daarentegen in hout opgetrokken, voorzien van een rustieke vakwerkstijl.
Het gebouw bezit invloeden van de Engelse neogotiek en de chaletstijl. De vensters met kepervormige afschuining, worden aan de bovenzijde omlijst door een in het pleisterwerk aangebrachte profilering. Luiken flankeren de tweelichtsvensters. Goot en gootlijst zijn van houtsnijwerk voorzien.
De symmetrische voorgevel (zuidzijde) bestaat uit drie traveeën, waarvan de middelste relatief smal is, risaleert en uit twee verdiepingen bestaat. Dit volume bestaat uit een geprofileerd stijl en regelwerk, waarin de teruggelegen velden van een horizontale betimmering zijn voorzien. In de eerste bouwlaag van de middenrisaliet is de entree, voorzien van een oorspronkelijke, geprofileerde houten deur, ondergebracht. Een op schoren geplaatst balkon met balusterhekwerk vormt tevens een afdak boven deze entree. In de tweede bouwlaag geven twee openslaande kepervormige deuren toegang tot het balkon. De bovenste teruggelegen velden zijn onder andere van cirkelvormige patronen voorzien. Onder het dak is een houten tandlijst aangebracht.
In het midden van de geveldelen terzijde van de middenrisaliet zijn de kepervormige vensters met luiken geplaatst.
In de achtergevel bevindt zich rechts een deur.
In de linker zijgevel bevinden zich twee vensters.
De rechter zijgevel is gespiegeld identiek aan de linker zijgevel.
Waardering
De woning, gesitueerd aan de oprijlaan van het landgoed Nimmerdor is van algemeen belang vanwege zijn architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf voorbeeld van een in eclectische stijl ontworpen dienstwoning. Het pand is van typologische waarde en bezit fraaie in hout uitgevoerde detailleringen. Dit pand bezit ensemblewaarde in relatie tot de andere onderdelen van het landgoed.

Description
Belonging to the Nimmerdor estate is a small SERVICE DWELLING, situated north of and directly at the beginning of the access road to the former main building of the estate. The building is positioned next to the coach house, directly on the Arnhemseweg. A shallow garden with fencing separates the dwelling from the road. The building is probably dated around 1850 and has undergone no major changes since then.
The simple building has a rectangular floor plan with primarily one storey and a hipped roof with a flattened apex, covered with zinc lozenges. Two chimneys are placed on the flattened section. The roof structure is broken on the south side by a central projection of two storeys with a flat roof.
The facades of the main mass are provided with render, in which horizontal lines are applied. The central projection, by contrast, is constructed in wood, furnished with a rusticated half-timbered style.
The building shows influences of English Neo-Gothic and chalet style. The windows with dormer-shaped cants are framed at the top by profiling applied in the render. Shutters flank the two-light windows. Gutter and gutter moulding are provided with wood carvings.
The symmetrical front facade (south side) consists of three bays, of which the middle one is relatively narrow, projects and consists of two storeys. This volume consists of profiled stiles and rails, in which the recessed fields are furnished with horizontal boarding. The entrance is housed in the first storey of the central projection, furnished with an original, profiled wooden door. A balcony with balustrade railing placed on brackets also forms a canopy above this entrance. Two glazed dormer-shaped doors in the second storey provide access to the balcony. The upper recessed fields are among other things furnished with circular patterns. Under the roof a wooden dentil moulding is applied.
In the middle of the facade sections on either side of the central projection are the dormer-shaped windows with shutters.

Valuation
The dwelling, situated on the access road of the Nimmerdor estate is of general interest because of its architectural-historical value as an unblemished example of a service dwelling designed in an eclectic style. The building is of typological value and possesses fine detailings executed in wood. This building has ensemble value in relation to the other components of the estate.
