Voormalige SCHOOL met BOVENMEESTERSHUIS uit 1905, nu woonhuis.
Omschrijving
Eenlaags bakstenen bouwwerk onder zadeldak met hoekpilasters, gekorniste kroonlijst en cementen plint. Het bevat in het linkse gedeelte een vijf traveeën breed symmetrisch woonhuis en in het rechtse gedeelte een drie vakken breed leslokaal. De getoogde muuropeningen zijn voorzien van T-vensters, in het schoolgedeelte twee aan twee gekoppeld. In beide kopgevels bevindt zich op zolder een ijzeren rondboogvenster met geometrische roedenverdeling. Rond ca. 1985 is in het achterste gedeelte van het leslokaal een autostalling gecreeërd.
In de voorgevel een jaartalsteen met opschrift: G. Vos Burgemeester van Linden.
Waardering
De school met bovenmeestershuis is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een culturele en geestelijke ontwikkeling, namelijk de ontwikkeling van het onderwijs in de negentiende eeuw. Het is tevens van belang als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het schoolgebouw. Architectuurhistorisch is het belangrijk vanwege de stijl en de detaillering. Het is waardevol vanwege de gaafheid van in- en exterieur en is als voorbeeld van een kleine dorpsschool betrkkelijk zeldzaam.

Description
Single-storey brick structure with a gabled roof, corner pilasters, corniced cornice and cement plinth. It contains in the left section a five-bay-wide symmetrical residential house and in the right section a three-bay-wide classroom. The arched wall openings are fitted with T-windows, in the school section coupled in pairs. In both gable ends on the attic floor is an iron semicircular window with geometric glazing bars. Around 1985 a car park was created in the rear section of the classroom.
In the front facade a date stone with inscription: G. Vos Burgemeester van Linden.
Valuation
The school with schoolmaster's house is of general importance. The property has cultural-historical significance as an example of cultural and spiritual development, namely the development of education in the nineteenth century. It is also of significance as an example of the typological development of the school building. Architecturally it is important because of the style and detailing.
