Omschrijving
De met de nokrichting evenwijdig aan de Gerverscop gelegen MACHINISTENWONING uit 1907, ontworpen door E.G. Wentink, is opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder een met rode en gesmoorde kruispannen gedekt zadeldak met wolfeinden. Het dak wordt aan de voorzijde doorbroken door een schoorsteen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in baksteen met strekken boven de vensters en een rollaag boven het trasraam. Gele verblendsteen is decoratief toegepast in sierbanden, blok- en kruispatronen. Boven de vensters zijn rondom muurankers aangebracht. De goot rust op bakstenen klossen. De schuiframen zijn geflankeerd door paneelluiken. De naar de weg gekeerde oostgevel is een langsgevel die symmetrisch van indeling is en twee schuiframen bevat. Tegen de westgevel is een éénlaags aanbouw gezet die van ondergeschikt belang is.

The MACHINIST'S HOUSE from 1907, with its ridge direction parallel to the Gerverscop, designed by E.G. Wentink, is built on a rectangular ground plan and has one storey under a gabled roof covered with red and dark cross tiles with half-hipped ends. The roof is interrupted at the front by a chimney. The facades are built in brick with bands above the windows and a roller course above the clinker course. Yellow decorative brick is applied decoratively in decorative bands, block and cross patterns. Above the windows, ornamental wall anchors are applied all around. The gutter rests on brick corbels. The sash windows are flanked by panel shutters. The east facade facing the road is a long side facade with a symmetrical arrangement and contains two sash windows. Against the west facade is a single-storey extension placed which is of subordinate importance.
The north and south facades are identical gable ends with comparable arrangement, consisting of a sash window on the ground floor as well as a single window in the gable.
The interior is of subordinate importance.
