Inleiding.
VILLA, gebouwd in omstreeks 1860 in een Neo-Classicistische stijl.
Omschrijving.
Tweelaags object op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een schilddak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. Het dak is voorzien van een gootlijst en is gedekt met Oud Hollandse pannen.
De gevels zijn gepleisterd. De voorgevel is voorzien van een waterlijst en heeft een breed middenrisaliet. In de risaliet, op de begane grond een drietal rondboogdeuren met waaiervormige roedenverdeling in de bovenlichten. Daarboven zesruits schuiframen. Aan weerszijden van de risaliet op de begane grond een achtruits schuifraam, op de verdieping een zesruiter met smal smeedijzeren hekje aan de onderkant ervoor. In de linkerzijgevel is aan de voorkant een half venster aangebracht. Meer naar achteren is een paneeldeur geplaatst. Het bovenlicht van de deur heeft een geometrische roedenverdeling. Links van het pand staat een voormalig koetshuis. Dit éénlaagse pand heeft een langgerekte plattegrond onder zadeldak, gedekt met Oud Hollandse pannen. In de gevel bevinden zich onder meer kleine halfronde stalraampjes.
Rondom is een grote tuin aangelegd. Aan de straatzijde een smeed- en gietijzeren hek met openslaande poorten.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling, tot uiting komend in een landhuisachtige situatie binnen de dorpskern. Het heeft architectuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een sober gedetailleerd Neo-Classicisme dat de waardigheid van de stichter materialiseert. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven.

Description.
Two-storey object on a rectangular floor plan under a hipped roof with the ridge running parallel to the street. The roof is provided with a gutter moulding and is covered with Old Dutch tiles.
The facades are plastered. The front facade is furnished with a drip moulding and has a broad central risalit. In the risalit, on the ground floor three round-arched doors with fan-shaped glazing bars in the fanlights. Above six-paned sash windows. On either side of the risalit on the ground floor a back-light sash window, on the upper storey a six-pane window with narrow wrought-iron railing at the bottom in front. In the left side facade at the front a half window is placed. Further back a panel door is positioned. The fanlight of the door has a geometric glazing pattern. To the left of the building stands a former coach house. This single-storey building has an elongated floor plan under a gabled roof, covered with Old Dutch tiles. In the facade among other things small semi-circular stable windows are located.
Around it a large garden is laid out. On the street side a wrought and cast-iron fence with hinged gates.
Valuation.
The building is of general importance. It has cultural-historical importance as an expression of social-economic and typological development, manifested in a manor-like situation within the village centre. It has architectural-historical importance as an example of sober detailed Neo-Classicism that materializes the dignity of the founder. It has been preserved in good condition.
