Inleiding.
WOONHUIS, gebouwd in het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw, in Eclectische stijl. Het hoekhuis heeft de voorgevel aan de Markt, de zijgevel grenst aan de Omgang.
Omschrijving.
Eénlaags bakstenen pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. Het dakvlak is aan de voorzijde geknikt en is gedekt met gotische pannen.
De voorgevel is vijf traveeën breed en heeft aan de uiteinden gepleisterde pilasters met dubbele voluten onder de gootlijst. De gevel is voorzien van een natuurstenen plint tot aan de onderkant van de ramen en een gepleisterde kroonlijst met bakstenen velden en gepleisterde cirkels. Ter plekke van de middenrisaliet is in de plint een trapje uitgespaard voor de deur, de gootlijst wordt doorbroken door een tympaan met piron. Rechts van de deur zijn twee ramen met houten rolluiken aangebracht, ramen en deur zijn in gepleisterde geprofileerde omlijsting gevat met een bewerkt veld onder de latei. Links van de deur bevinden zich een later aangebracht breder raam en een poort. Bij beide is de gepleisterde latei gehandhaafd. Bovenlichten van de ramen zijn gevuld met glas-in-lood, dit gaat gedeeltelijk schuil achter overhangende houten panelen. In het dakvlak twee dakkapellen onder zinken dak met piron. De blinde linkerzijgevel is in lichtere baksteen uitgevoerd en bevat steekankers.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen architectuurhistorisch belang wegens het bijzondere materiaalgebruik en ornamentiek en vertegenwoordigt de wijze waarop Eclectische vormen van de stad naar het platteland migreerden en daar door de plaatselijke elite werden toegepast. Het pand heeft ensemblewaarde is samenhang met de gave straatwanden van het historische marktplein.

DWELLING HOUSE, built in the last quarter of the nineteenth century, in Eclectic style. The corner house has its front facade facing the Markt, the side gable adjoins the Omgang.

Single-storey brick building on a rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof whose ridge runs parallel to the street. The roof plane is bent at the front and is covered with Gothic tiles.
The front facade is five bays wide and has plastered pilasters with double volutes at the ends under the gutter line. The facade is provided with a natural stone plinth to the bottom of the windows and a plastered cornice with brick fields and plastered circles. At the location of the middle risalit a step is set out in the plinth for the door, the gutter line is broken by a tympanum with a finial. To the right of the door are two windows with wooden roller shutters, windows and door are set in a plastered profiled frame with a worked field under the lintel. To the left of the door are a later-added wider window and a gateway. For both the plastered lintel has been maintained. The fanlights of the windows are filled with stained glass, which is partly hidden behind overhanging wooden panels. In the roof plane two roof dormers under zinc roof with finial.
