Inleiding.
Aan de noordelijke zijde van de kruising staat de LANGSDEELSCHUUR. Deze dateert uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw.
Omschrijving.
De schuur heeft een langgerekte rechthoekige plattegrond, met inspringingen op de zuidwestelijke en zuidoostelijke hoek, waar zich de inrijpoorten bevinden. De gevels zijn deels beschoten, deels gepotdekseld. Het grootste deel is voorzien van een bakstenen sokkel. Het driebeukig houten gebint wordt gedekt met een schilddak, deels met stro, deels met riet, deels met oud Hollandse en muldenpannen gedekt. In de beide hoekgevels zijn dubbele opgeklampte vleugelpoorten geplaatst. Waarschijnlijk heeft zich in de noordelijke gevel een derde, en in de oostelijke gevel een vierde ingang bevonden. Deze zijn thans dichtgezet.
Waardering.
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarden als uitdrukking van geografische en landschappelijke ontwikkelingen en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de langsdeelschuur. On the northern side of the crossing stands the BARN WITH SIDE AISLES. This dates from the second half of the nineteenth century.
Description.
The barn has an elongated rectangular floor plan, with recesses at the south-western and south-eastern corner, where the gateways are located. The facades are partly boarded, partly shingled. The largest part is provided with a brick base. The three-bay wooden frame structure is covered with a hipped roof, partly with straw, partly with thatch, partly with old-Dutch and hollow tiles. In both gable end facades double clamped wing gates have been placed. Probably a third entrance existed in the northern facade, and a fourth in the eastern facade. These are now closed.
Valuation.
The barn is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical values as an expression of geographical and landscape developments and as an example of the typological development of the barn with side aisles. It has ensemble values because of its situation, connected with the development of the region. It has been preserved in good condition.
