Neo-Gotisch BEELD van het H. Hart, geplaatst achter de absis van de kapel.
Omschrijving.
Neogotisch beeld, geplaatst op een bakstenen sokkel met treden, die door middel van gebogen steunmuren verbonden is met vier bakstenen basementen die door kettingen verbonden vier siervazen dragen.
Waardering.
Het beeld is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als uitdrukking van de ontwikkeling van de katholieke zorg voor zwakzinnigen en minder bedeelden in de periode van de katholieke herleving. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van het complex van de inrichting. Neo-gothic statue, placed on a brick plinth with steps, which is connected by means of curved buttresses to four brick bases which by chains support four ornamental vases.
Valuation.
The statue is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as an expression of the development of Catholic care for the mentally disabled and the poor in the period of the Catholic revival. It has ensemble value as part of the complex of the institution. It has been well preserved and is a characteristic component of the spatial development near the church village of Biezenmortel to the east of the core of Udenhout.
