Inleiding.
De PASTORIE van de kerk "H. Maria Boodschap" uit 1940 bestaat uit twee gedeelten: het woonhuis met op de noordwesthoek een aangebouwde garage. Beide hebben een rechthoekige plattegrond. De pastorie ligt aan de noordoostkant van de kerk hiermee verbonden door de sacristie. De voordeur bevindt zich in de noord- of rechterzijgevel.
Omschrijving.
Het woonhuis van de pastorie bestaat uit een eenlaags gedeelte aan de straatkant en hierachter een tweelaags gedeelte, beide voorzien van een zolderverdieping. Hierop zadeldaken tussen tuitgevels, met de nokrichting loodrecht op de straat. De voorgevel is twee traveeën breed en symmetrisch van opzet. De voordeur ligt in een ondiep portiek, voorzien van een segmentboog met ervoor een klein bordes met twee traptreden. Het bovenlicht van de voordeur heeft een geometrische roedenverdeling.
De houten vensters van de pastorie hebben stalen ramen met een drie-, zes- of negenruitsverdeling voorzien van luiken. De eenlaagse garage heeft een ingang onder een segmentboog. De blank gelakte eiken buitendeuren hebben gesmeed zwaar hang- en sluitwerk. Het opgaande werk van de pastorie komt overeen met dat van de kerk. Het bestaat uit miskleurige rode handgevormde baksteen, gemetseld in wildverband. De baksteen, met een formaat van 5,3x 9,7x 23,5 cm, komt van de steenfabriek Udenhout. De aanzetstukken bij de muuropeningen van de deuren en afdekkingen van de tuitgevels zijn van tufsteen. De daken zijn voorzien van natuurstenen leibedekking.
