Het kleine KANTOOR van de ververij uit 1888 is gebouwd voor de textielfabrikant Van Puijenbroek.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaagse kantoor met zolderverdieping heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond (oppervlakte ca. 64 m2) en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met overstek voorzien van windveren. Het dak is belegd met grijze oud-Hollandse pannen.
De symmetrische voorgevel is op de begane grond drie traveeën breed. De eenvoudige met kraaldelen beklede voordeur wordt geflankeerd door twee getoogde schuifvensters met een zesruits verdeling. Boven de voordeur een getoogd bovenlicht. Op de zolderverdieping bevinden zich boven de deur twee vensters onder rondboog met een zesruits-verdeling. In de zijgevels eveneens een getoogd venster overeenkomstig die van de voorgevel. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit rode baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. Het heeft een cementen plint. De voorgevel wordt bovendien afgewisseld door speklagen van gele steen, die ook in de segment- en rondbogen is verwerkt. In de boogtrommels siermetselwerk. Description
The single-storey office with attic storey has a rectangular floor plan (area approximately 64 m2) and is covered by a gabled roof with overhang fitted with wind vanes. The roof is laid with grey Old Dutch tiles.
The symmetrical front facade is three bays wide on the ground floor. The simple front door clad with beading is flanked by two arched sash windows with a six-pane division. Above the front door an arched fanlight. On the attic storey above the door are two windows beneath a round arch with a six-pane division. In the side facades likewise an arched window corresponding to those of the front facade. The outer wall is built of red brick laid in Flemish bond. It has a cement plinth.
