Inleiding.
Vrij gelegen aan de Versterstraat werd in 1888 dit statige WOONHUIS met KOETSHUIS opgetrokken in Eclectische vormen.
Omschrijving.
Het onderkelderde tweelaags pand is geheel vrij gelegen en heeft de gevel schuin op de as van de weg. De hoofdbouw heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond. Evenwijdig aan de lengte-as is aan de rechter achterzijde van het pand een eveneens rechthoekig koetshuis van één bouwlaag opgetrokken met aan de achterzijde een recente aanbouw. Het boerderijgedeelte heeft een zadeldak en is gedekt met verbeterde hollandse pannen. Op het dak bevinden zich twee gemetselde schoorstenen. De gepleisterde ingezwenkte lijstgevel met klassieke elementen is rijk geornamenteerd. Dit in tegenstelling tot de achter- en zijgevels, die in schoon metselwerk zijn uitgevoerd.
De uit vijf traveeën bestaande voorgevel is gevat tussen twee iets uitspringende en vlak bekroonde hoekpenanten met casementen. Ook het centrale gelegen ingangsgedeelte risaleert iets en wordt in de kroonlijst bekroond met een fronton. De deuropening is markant omlijst met geprofileerd lijstwerk met kuifversiering, pilasters met casementen, voluutvormige consoles en een verspringende luifel. Het pand bezit nog de fraai uitgevoerde originele kussenpaneeldeur met glas-in-lood in het bovenlicht. Alle vensters hebben zesruits schuiframen, zijn licht getoogd en hebben een omlijsting met kuifversiering en een doorlopende hardstenen onderdorpel. Ook de cordonlijst is van hardsteen. In de rechter zijgevel bevinden zich twee licht getoogde smalle hoge vensters. De kozijnen en ramen met roedenverdeling zijn vernieuwd. Tevens bevinden zich nog enkele rechte steekankers in deze gevel. Het donkere metselwerk aan de achterzijde is een restant van een verdwenen aanbouw. De linker zijgevel is enigermate gewijzigd; het smalle venster is verwijderd en er is een vleugeldeur naar het tuinterras geplaatst. Aan de achterzijde van het pand zijn de deur en de kozijnen en de ramen vervangen. Intern is slechts weinig van de originele stucplafonds bewaard gebleven. Het voormalige koetshuis is tegenwoordig bij de woning getrokken en staat hiermee ook in verbinding. Het met een zadeldak met pannen gedekt gebouw is vele malen gewijzigd, onder andere bij de ingang en de vensters.
Aan de voorzijde van het pand bevindt zich een ondiepe tuin. Van het oorspronkelijke sierijzeren hekwerk rest nu nog het poortje. De beplanting in het overige gedeelte van de tuin omvat onder meer een beuk, kastanje, walnoot en ligusterhaag.

Freely situated on the Versterstraat, this stately RESIDENTIAL HOUSE with COACH HOUSE was erected in 1888 in Eclectic forms.
Description.
The undercellared two-storey building is completely detached and has the facade set obliquely to the axis of the road. The main building has a rectangular ground plan. Parallel to the longitudinal axis, a likewise rectangular coach house of one storey has been erected on the right rear side of the building, with a recent extension on the rear. The farmyard section has a gabled roof and is covered with improved Dutch tiles. On the roof are two masonry chimneys. The plastered, indented cornice-topped facade with classical elements is richly ornamented. This in contrast to the rear and side facades, which are executed in fair-faced brickwork.
The front facade, consisting of five bays, is framed between two slightly projecting and flat-topped corner pilasters with casements. The centrally located entrance section also projects slightly and is crowned in the cornice with a pediment. The door opening is strikingly framed with profiled moulding with hood moulding, pilasters with casements, volute-shaped consoles and a projecting canopy. The building still possesses the finely executed original cushion-panelled door with leaded glass in the fanlight. All windows have six-light sash windows, are slightly arched and have a surround with hood moulding and a continuous ashlar sill. The stringcourse is also of ashlar. In the right side facade there are two slightly arched narrow tall windows. The frames and windows with glazing bars have been renewed. Also still present are several straight tie anchors in this facade. The dark brickwork on the rear is a remnant of a vanished extension. The left side facade is somewhat modified; the narrow window has been removed and a wing door to the terrace has been placed. On the rear of the building the door, frames and windows have been replaced. Internally, little of the original stucco ceilings has been preserved. The former coach house is today connected to the dwelling and stands in connection with it. The building, covered with a gabled roof with tiles, has been modified many times, including at the entrance and the windows.
In front of the building is a shallow garden. Of the original decorative iron fencing, only the gate remains. The planting in the rest of the garden includes an aisle, chestnut, walnut and privet hedge.
