Cilindrische AANPLAKZUIL met helm, gesitueerd op het westelijk uiteinde van de middenberm in de Nassaustraat en in de gevellijn van de Oranjestraat. De piron op de helm werd bekroond door een bordje met de tekst: "Vrije Plakplaats".
Uitgangspunten van het ontwerp zijn de eenvoudige geometrische grondvormen van de cilinder (schacht) en de kegel (dak). De schacht met uitspringende voet is gecementeerd. De bekroning met piron is van zink. De enige decoratie is een lijst van acanthusbladeren op het ojiefvormige profiel onder de dakrand.
De aanplakzuil maakt deel uit van de tussen 1894 en 1909 tot ontwikkeling gebrachte woonwijk Lombok, en dateert waarschijnlijk uit het eerste kwart van de 20e eeuw.

Introduction and description
Cylindrical ADVERTISING PILLAR with helmet, situated at the western end of the central reservation in the Nassaustraat and in the facade line of the Oranjestraat. The finial on the helmet was crowned by a board with the text: "Free Posting Space".
The design principles are based on simple geometric basic forms of the cylinder (shaft) and the cone (roof). The shaft with projecting base is cemented. The crown with finial is of zinc. The only decoration is a list of acanthus leaves on the ogee-shaped profile below the eaves.
The advertising pillar is part of the residential district Lombok, developed between 1894 and 1909, and dates probably from the first quarter of the 20th century.
