Inleiding
T-BOERDERIJ, gebouwd in traditionele stijl in 1869 en onderdelen verbouwd rond 1930. Een bom vernielde in de Tweede Wereldoorlog een deel van de stal, die hierna deels werd heropgebouwd en van betonnen stalramen voorzien. De boerderij, nu in gebruik als woonhuis, is gelegen op een perceel op enige afstand van de openbare weg.
Omschrijving
De boerderij met een T-vormige plattegrond, heeft gevels van handvorm baksteen en een samengesteld schilddak met riet, bij de stal voorzien van een voet van oudhollandse dakpannen. Onder de dakrand nog deels de oorspronkelijke stroomlaag. De plint is gepleisterd, de gevels zijn voorzien van rechte steekankers. De voorgevel van het woonhuis telt vier traveeën. Links bevinden zich twee, rechts één zesruits schuifvenster met opgeklampte luiken, voorzien van oorspronkelijk hang- en sluitwerk. Daartussen bevindt zich de paneeldeur uit ca. 1930. Het bovenlicht bevat ijzeren sierroeden. Voor de deur een hoge hardstenen stoep. De rechtergevel van het woongedeelte bevat links een samengesteld venster en een klampdeur met gekoppeld drieruits schuifraam en bovenlicht. Een openslaand venster is in een opgetild dakdeel gezet. In het stalgedeelte bevinden zich staldeuren, een zesruits stalraam en vier betonnen stalramen. De linkergevel van het woongedeelte bevat op de begane grond twee zesruits schuifvensters en twee tweelichts zolderramen, in het staldeel vier betonnen stalramen. De achtergevel, de kopse gevel van de stal, heeft een dubbele korfbogige staldeur met daarboven een getoogd hooiluik. Links een lagere korfboogvormige staldeur. Achter de voordeur doorsnijdt een gang met Naamse tegels het woonhuis. De wanden bestaan uit stucwerk uit de jaren dertig, het plafond is net als dat van de overige ruimten voorzien van een balken zoldering. Aan het einde rechts een brede deur met steile trap naar de zolderverdieping. De treden zijn zonder stootborden tussen de houten zijwanden geplaatst. Op de zolder bevindt zich een meidenkamertje met houten wanden. In de kamer links van de ingang ingebouwde kastjes en bedstede. De geprofileerde houten deuren zijn deels voorzien van ovale houten draaiknoppen. In de kamer rechts van de ingang is heden de keuken geplaatst. Van hieruit komt men in het stalgedeelte. Hier ziet men de schouw, die dus gericht was naar het stalgedeelte. Deze is voorzien van witte en schildpadtegels. De stal bezit de oorspronkelijke kap, voorzien van telmerken.
Voor de boerderij staan leilinden, tussen de rechter zijgevel en de straat is een grote tuin met boomgaard en een deel van de oorspronkelijke padenstructuur met meidoornhagen.
Waardering
De T-boerderij met erf en beplanting is van algemeen belang. Het geheel heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de Maaskant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de T-boerderij. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de sobere ornamentiek en bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. De boerderij is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het in- en exterieur en is als zodanig zeldzaam.

T-SHAPED FARMHOUSE, built in traditional style in 1869 and components rebuilt around 1930. Description
The farmhouse with a T-shaped floor plan has facades of handmade brick and a compound hipped roof with thatch, provided at the barn with a course of old-Dutch roof tiles. Under the eaves still partly the original flashing strip. The plinth is plastered, the facades are provided with straight brick bond anchors. The front facade of the dwelling counts four bays. On the left are two, on the right one six-paned sash window with clamped shutters, provided with original hinges and fastenings. Between these is the panelled door from circa 1930. The fanlight contains iron ornamental rods. In front of the door a high hard stone step. The right facade of the dwelling section contains on the left a compound window and a clamp door with coupled three-paned sash window and fanlight. An outward-opening window is set in a raised roof section. In the barn section are barn doors, a six-paned barn window and four concrete barn windows. The left facade of the dwelling section contains on the ground floor two six-paned sash windows and two two-light loft windows, in the barn section four concrete barn windows. The rear facade, the gable end of the barn, has a double segmental arch barn door with above it a arched hay shutter. On the left a lower segmental arch-shaped barn door. Behind the front door a corridor with Namur tiles runs through the dwelling. The walls consist of stuccowork from the nineteen thirties, the ceiling like that of the other spaces is provided with a beamed floor. At the end on the right a broad door with steep stairs to the loft storey. The treads are placed without risers between the wooden side walls. On the loft is a maid's room with wooden walls. In the room left of the entrance are built-in cupboards and a bed niche. The moulded wooden doors are partly provided with oval wooden knobs. In the room right of the entrance is now the kitchen placed. From here one enters the barn section. Here one sees the chimney, which was thus directed towards the barn section. It is provided with white and tortoiseshell tiles. The barn possesses the original roof truss structure, provided with carpenters' marks.
In front of the farmhouse stand large linden trees, between the right side facade and the street is a large garden with orchard and part of the original path structure with hawthorn hedges.
Valuation
The T-shaped farmhouse with yard and planting is of general interest. The whole has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Maaskant and as an example of the typological development of the T-shaped farmhouse. Architecturally the building is of significance because of its austere ornamentation and particular harmony between exterior and interior. The farmhouse is important because of the integrity of its interior and exterior and as such is rare.
