Inleiding
SCHUUR, gebouwd in 1885 in Eclecticistische stijl en behorend tot het woonhuis. De schuur staat parallel aan en rechts achter het huis.
Omschrijving
De eenlaagse schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen, het zadeldak is gedekt met oudhollandse dakpannen. Het gebouw heeft behalve een ingang in de linker gevel diverse ronde ijzeren ramen.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van Maaskant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de gebouwen voor agrarische bedrijfsvoering. Het heeft ensemblewaarden in samenhang met het woonhuis en is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur en is als zodanig zeldzaam.

The single-storey barn has a rectangular ground plan. The facades are constructed of machine-made brick; the gabled roof is covered with antique Dutch tiles. The building has, besides an entrance in the left gable, several round iron windows.

The building is of cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of the Maaskant and as an example of the typological development of buildings for agricultural enterprise.
