Inleiding
De Duitse TANKVERSPERRING is in 1943 aangelegd achter de tweede linie aan de zeezijde van de dijk. De versperring is een overblijfsel van een versperring over de volledige breedte van de dijk, die als doel had eventueel gelande troepen op de dijk te blokkeren.
Omschrijving
De tankversperring bestaat uit betonnen piramiden op een balkenrooster en omvat twee gekoppelde delen. Het oostelijke deel is hoger, bevat zeven traveeën met drie piramiden op een rij. Het westelijke deel is lager, bestrijkt een kleiner oppervlak en bevat zeven traveeën met twee piramiden die niet, zoals in het oostelijk deel, in één lijn liggen.

The German TANK OBSTACLE was laid out in 1943 behind the second line on the sea side of the dike. The obstacle is a remnant of an obstacle across the full width of the dike, which was designed to block any landed troops on the dike.
