Inleiding
De door de Duitsers in 1943 aangelegde OPEN OPSTELLING voor luchtdoelartillerie bevindt zich ten zuiden van Kazemat XII op een heuvel dicht tegen de snelweg.

De achthoekige bakstenen opstelling is gebouwd op een betonnen funderingsplaat en heeft betonnen afdekplaten, waaronder de munitie-nissen zijn gesitueerd. De toegangssparing, die verbonden is met de loopgraven van de tweede linie, is aan de oostzijde.
