De BOOMGAARD, behorende bij de tuinmanswoning onderdeel uitmakend van het complex de Marthastichting, leverde oorspronkelijk met de niet meer aanwezige moestuin het fruit en de groente voor het gehele complex. De boomgaard heeft hoogstammige appel- en pruimenbomen.
Waardering
De boomgaard is van algemeen belang vanwege de ensemblewaarde waarde te weten de functionele en ruimtelijke samenhang met de tuinmanswoning en de andere onderdelen van het complex in de parkaanleg; als functioneel onderdeel.
De boomgaard is gaaf bewaard gebleven.
Een boomgaard met hoogstammige fruitbomen is relatief zeldzaam.
