Inleiding
TRANSFORMATORHUISJE bij gemaal Leemans, gesitueerd ten oosten van de Stonteler Schutsluis en gebouwd tegen het bruggenhoofd van de brug in de Noorderdijkweg. De transformator regelde onder meer de stroomvoorziening van het complex Leemans.
Omschrijving
Transformatorhuisje opgetrokken in baksteen op een rechthoekig grondplan, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder een zadeldak gedekt met rode Hollandse pannen. De hoofdzakelijk gesloten gevels van het trafohuisje zijn witgeschilderd. In de rechter zijgevel bevindt zich een metalen deur. Tegen de rechter zijgevel van het transformatorhuisje loopt een gewapend betonnen trap die voert naar de kruin van het dijklichaam.
Waardering
Het transformatorhuisje is van algemeen belang wegens cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex Leemans.

The primarily closed facades of the transformer house are whitewashed. In the right side facade there is a metal door. Against the right side facade of the transformer house runs a reinforced concrete staircase leading to the crest of the dyke body.

The transformer house is of general importance due to cultural and architectural historical value as a historical-functional component of the Leemans complex.
