Omschrijving
De TUIN, behorende bij het complex "Prins Hendrik Stichting", heeft aan de voorzijde van het gebouw (N) een formele symmetrische aanleg. In de hoofdas van het gebouw, tussen de hoofdentree van het terrein en de ingang van het hoofdgebouw, ligt verdiept een rechthoekige noord-zuid georiënteerde vijver met grasperken omzoomd en aan de korte zijden kademuurtjes die zijn opgetrokken in bruine baksteen. Aan het noordelijk uiteinde van de vijver, direct tegenover de hoofdentree van het terrein, is op een rond plateau een scheepsmast geplaatst. Aan de zuidzijde van de vijver leiden twee gemetselde trappen naar een pad aan weerszijden van de dieper gelegen vijver.
Op het terrein staat, in de nabijheid van de Voorstraat, een achttal betonnen zitbanken met houten zittingen en rugleuningen uit de bouwtijd.
Waardering
De tuinaanleg met bijbehorende onderdelen van het complex "Prins Hendrik- stichting" uit 1937 is van algemeen belang wegens de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex.

Description
The GARDEN, belonging to the complex "Prins Hendrik Stichting", has at the front of the building (N) a formal symmetrical design. In the main axis of the building, between the main entrance of the site and the entrance to the main building, lies sunken a rectangular north-south oriented pond with grass verges and at the short sides quay walls which are constructed in brown brick. At the northern end of the pond, directly opposite the main entrance of the site, a ship's mast is placed on a round plateau. At the south side of the pond two brick staircases lead to a path on either side of the deeper sunken pond.
On the site stands, in the vicinity of the Voorstraat, a set of eight concrete benches with wooden seating and backrests from the time of construction.
Valuation
The garden design with associated components of the complex "Prins Hendrikstichting" from 1937 is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural historical value as a historic-functional component of the complex.
