Omschrijving
De ERFSCHEIDING rond het terrein van het complex "Prins Hendrikstichting" bestaat aan de noord-, west-, en oostzijde uit een laag gemetseld muurtje als basement en een witte stalen reling, onderbroken door gemetselde toegangspartij en aan de Voorstraat, de Prins Hendrikstraat en de Pieter Schotsmanstraat.
De hoofdentree tot het terrein, recht tegenover de hoofdingang, bestaat uit een ca. 2.50 meter hoog stalen hek tussen twee concaaf gemetselde witgeschilderde muurtjes van circa 3 meter hoogte met een zwartgeschilderde plint. Op elke pijler rust een ijzeren lantaarn en op de muren is de naam van het gebouw aangebracht. Aan de Prins Hendrikstraat is een gelijkvormige entreepartij, die echter minder hoog (ca. 1.50 meter) is. Links van deze entree is een eenvoudig, klein dienstgebouw in de erfscheiding opgenomen onder een asymetrisch zadeldak.
Aan de zijde van de Pieter Schotsmanstraat bevindt zich een eveneens lage entreepartij met hekwerk, maar in dit geval met een convexe vorm (gezien vanaf de openbare weg).
Waardering
De erfscheiding, behorende bij het complex "Prins Hendrikstichting" uit 1937 naar ontwerp van Corn. Elffers, bestaande uit alle genoemde onderdelen, is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex.

The BOUNDARY FENCE around the site of the complex "Prins Hendrikstichting" consists on the north, west, and east side of a low brick wall as basement and a white steel railing, interrupted by brick entrance sections at the Voorstraat, the Prins Hendrikstraat and the Pieter Schotsmanstraat.
The main entrance to the site, directly opposite the main entrance to the building, consists of approximately 2.50 metres high steel gate between two concave brick whitewashed walls of approximately 3 metres height with a blackpainted plinth. On each pillar rests an iron lantern and on the walls the name of the building is displayed. At the Prins Hendrikstraat is a similar entrance section, which however is lower (approximately 1.50 metres). To the left of this entrance is a simple, small service building incorporated in the boundary fence under an asymmetrical gabled roof.
On the side of the Pieter Schotsmanstraat is a likewise low entrance section with ironwork, but in this case with a convex form (viewed from the public street).
Valuation
The boundary fence, belonging to the complex "Prins Hendrikstichting" from 1937 according to the design of Corn. Elffers, consisting of all named components, is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural historical value as a historic-functional component of the complex.
