Omschrijving
Omschrijving Het symmetrische (voormalige) ZIEKENPAVILJOEN, onderdeel van het complex "Koloniehuis Zwartendijk", heeft een vierkante plattegrond en telt één bouwlaag onder een plat dak, waaronder een eenvoudige sierrand van metselwerk zichtbaar is. Het pand is opgetrokken in rode baksteen in kruisverband met toepassing van een platvolle voeg.
Bij alle gevels is sprake van gepleisterde speklagen en aanzet- en sluitstenen in de strekken. Onder enkele vensters bevinden zich nog de oorspronkelijke hardstenen lekdorpels.
In de voorgevel (W) bevindt zich in het midden een venster met aan weerszijden een deur onder bovenlicht en op de hoeken een smal hoog venster. De noordgevel bezit een vierkant venster. In de oostgevel van links naar rechts een smal venster en drie bredere vensters.
In de zuidgevel zijn twee forse vensters en een deur.
Waardering
Het (voormalige) ziekenpaviljoen uit 1910 is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex "Koloniehuis Zwartendijk" met dezelfde stijlkenmerken als het koloniehuis.

Description
The symmetrical (former) SICK PAVILION, part of the complex "Koloniehuis Zwartendijk", has a square ground plan and comprises one storey under a flat roof, below which a simple ornamental frieze of brickwork is visible. The building is constructed in red brick in cross bond with application of a full flush joint.
On all gables there are plastered bands and abutment and closing stones in the relieving arches. Below some windows the original sandstone drip moulds are still present.
In the front facade (W) there is in the centre a window with on either side a door under a fanlight and at the corners a narrow tall window. The north gable has a square window. In the east gable from left to right a narrow window and three wider windows.
In the south gable are two substantial windows and a door.
Valuation
The (former) sick pavilion of 1910 is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a historically functional component of the complex "Koloniehuis Zwartendijk" with the same stylistic features as the colony house.
