HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
Omschrijving van het onderdeel van het complex heeft betrekking op het gebied dat in de gemeente Baarn ligt.
De deels in structuur en deels in detail gaaf bewaarde tuinaanleg in landschapsstijl werd rond 1830 naar het ontwerp van tuinarchitect H. van Lunteren gerealiseerd. De structuur van de aanleg wordt gedragen door de in curven verlopende paden en de slingerende serpentinevijver met diverse uitlopers die in verschillende fasen is aangelegd. Een groot en een klein eiland, waarop dichte jonge aanplant, maken deel uit van de aanleg. Het park wordt mede gebruikt voor bosbouw. Langs de westzijde van het park slingert zich een fraaie negentiende-eeuwse beukenlaan. Vanaf de beukenlaan zijn verschillende zichten naar buiten toe geprojecteerd op het evenwijdig liggende weiland met coulissenwerking. Een belangrijke as is de diagonale zichtas over de waterpartij naar het huis. Enkele recent aangelegde rechte lanen doorkruisen de aanleg, waaronder een brede kastanjelaan lopende vanaf het huis in noordwestelijke richting door het midden van een ovaalvormig terrein dat diende als moestuin, maar nu in gebruik is voor bosbouw. Ten noordoosten van de oude moestuin ligt het pinetum (de voormalige rozentuin). In deze open aanleg staan enkele bijzondere oude solitairen uit ca. 1810 waaronder een ginkgo, een rode eik en een kurkeik. Vanaf de ijskelder die aan de noordkant ligt is een doorzicht over de waterpartij. Ten noorden van het huis, waar het terrein taps toeloopt, ligt een grillig gevormde zogenaamde 'bestelkantoorvijver', die aan de noordzijde begrensd wordt door een glooiend parkgedeelte gestoffeerd met beuken. Over de vijver een zichtas naar het Jachthuys. De directe omgeving rondom het huis heeft een open karakter bestaande uit licht glooiende gazons die omgeven zijn door boomgroepen (coniferen). Vanaf de oprijlaan aan de Biltseweg een mooi zicht over de driehoekige vijver, die bij de aanleg van de Biltseweg in 1932 deze vorm heeft gekregen, naar het huis.

De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG is van algemeen belang:
- als representatief voorbeeld van een deels in structuur en deels in detail gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een parkaanleg in landschapsstijl van de hand van H. van Lunteren uit de eerste kwart van de 19de eeuw;

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT.
Description of the component of the complex pertains to the area situated in the municipality of Baarn.
The partly in structure and partly in detail well-preserved garden layout in landscape style was realised around 1830 after the design of garden architect H. van Lunteren. The structure of the layout is sustained by the curving paths and the winding serpentine pond with various offshoots which was laid out in different phases. A large and a small island, on which dense young planting, form part of the layout. The park is also used for forestry. Along the western side of the park winds a fine nineteenth-century beech avenue. From the beech avenue, various views towards the outside are projected onto the parallel lying meadow with coulisse effect. An important axis is the diagonal sight line across the water feature towards the house. Several recently laid out straight avenues cross the layout, including a broad chestnut avenue running from the house in a north-westerly direction through the middle of an oval-shaped plot that served as a vegetable garden, but is now used for forestry. North-east of the old vegetable garden lies the pinetum (the former rose garden). In this open layout stand several distinctive old solitary trees from around 1810 including a ginkgo, a red oak and a cork oak. From the ice house which lies to the north is a view across the water feature. North of the house, where the terrain tapers, lies an irregularly shaped so-called 'order office pond', which is bounded on the north side by a gently sloping park section furnished with beeches. Over the pond a sight axis towards the Hunting Lodge. The immediate surroundings around the house have an open character consisting of gently sloping lawns surrounded by groups of trees (conifers). From the drive at the Biltseweg a fine view across the triangular pond, which obtained this shape with the construction of the Biltseweg in 1932, towards the house.

The HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT is of general importance:
- as a representative example of a partly in structure and partly in detail well-preserved example of a park layout in landscape style by the hand of H. van Lunteren from the first quarter of the 19th century;
