Omschrijving onderdeel 5: IJSKELDER.
Ten noorden van de oude moestuin in een kunstmatig opgeworpen heuvel gelegen achttiende-eeuwse ijskelder bestaande uit een bakstenen boogingang met voorportaal die leidt naar een koepelgewelf. De ijskelder is vergelijkbaar met de ijskelder van kasteel Drakesteijn, die dateert uit de tweede helft van de achttiende eeuw.

De IJSKELDER is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 5: ICE HOUSE.
North of the old vegetable garden in an artificially constructed mound situated an eighteenth-century ice house consisting of a brick arch entrance with forecourt which leads to a domed vault. The ice house is comparable with the ice house of castle Drakesteijn, which dates from the second half of the eighteenth century.
