Omschrijving onderdeel 4: BRUG en DAM.
De toegangsbrug, XVIII, over de gracht tot de hoofdingang van de borg: houten brugdek, ingelaten in de gevel direct onder de dorpel van de ingang; de andere zijde rustend op een fors bakstenen bruggenhoofd; leuningen van slanke gietijzeren balusters verbonden door twee boven elkaar gelegen ijzeren stangen. In de gracht, die de eikenlaan verbindt met de rijweg langs de compagnievaart, een dam; deze is opgesloten tussen twee bakstenen keermuren, XXb, in het midden waarvan een in twee sprongen uitkragende korte pilaster met X-vormig spananker; rollaag à niveau.

Description of component 4: BRIDGE and DAM.
The access bridge, 18th century, over the moat to the main entrance of the borg: wooden bridge deck, let into the facade directly below the threshold of the entrance; the other side resting on a sturdy brick bridge abutment; railings of slender cast-iron balusters connected by two iron rods placed one above the other. In the moat, which connects the oak avenue with the access road along the company canal, a dam; this is enclosed between two brick retaining walls, XXb, in the middle of which a short pilaster projecting in two stages with X-shaped tie anchor; level roller course.
