Inleiding
In de uiterste noordwesthoek van het kazerneterrein staat, binnen de omheining maar door draadversperringen van de overige gebouwen gescheiden, een eenvoudig POMPGEBOUW VAN DE WATER-LEIDING uit 1939.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaags gebouwtje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, bakstenen gevels met ijzeren kozijnen en deur, en een tentdak met verbeterde Hollandse pannen en een overstek. Het is gesitueerd op een lichte kunstmatige verhoging en is in stijl aangepast aan de overige gebouwen op het kazerneterrein.
Waardering
Het pompgebouw van de kazerne is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een bestuurlijke en strategische ontwikkeling, namelijk de stichting van een kazerne als onderdeel van de Peel-Raamstelling, een belangrijk onderdeel van de landsverdediging, en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van kazernes in het interbellum. Architectuurhistorisch is het van belang vanwege de stijl die door de bureaus der genie werd toegepast en wegens het materiaalgebruik. In the extreme north-western corner of the barracks grounds, within the fence but separated by wire barriers from the other buildings, stands a simple PUMP BUILDING OF THE WATER-SUPPLY from 1939.

The single-storey small building has a rectangular floor plan, brick facades with iron windows and door, and a tent roof with improved Dutch tiles and an overhang. It is situated on a slight artificial elevation and is styled in keeping with the other buildings on the barracks grounds.

The pump building of the barracks is of general importance. It has cultural-historical importance as an example of an administrative and strategic development, namely the establishment of a barracks as part of the Peel-Raam Position, an important component of national defence, and as an example of the typological development of barracks in the interwar period.
