Omschrijving
Omschriiving onderdeel 4: TOEGANGSHEK OP BRUG behorende tot de buitenplaats Amstelrust.
De toegang wordt gevormd door een monumentaal smeedijzeren hek uit circa 1750 staande op een bakstenen boogbrug met hardstenen dakplaten. Het hek bestaat uit twee spijlen hekvleugels tussen stijlen met in de bovenligger de naam AMSTEL-RUST en daarboven een kuif van siersmeedwerk, aan weerszijden voluutvormige zijstukken.
Waardering
Het TOEGANGSHEK OP BRUG, behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Amstelrust is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:

Description
Description component 4: GATEWAY ON BRIDGE belonging to the country estate Amstelrust.
The gateway is formed by a monumental wrought-iron gate from circa 1750 standing on a brick arch bridge with hardstone roof plates. The gate consists of two spear-shaped gate wings between posts with the name AMSTEL-RUST in the upper rail and above it a crest of ornamental ironwork, with scroll-shaped side pieces on either side.
