Omschrijving
Het grafmonument is gebouwd in de vorm van een grafkapel. Het is geheel opgebouwd uit hardsteen en heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en een zadeldak. Na een rechte plint volgt een blokvormig behakt gedeelte, met een brede sierband die afgesloten wordt als aanzetsteen bij de rondbogige ingang aan de voorzijde. De voorzijde heeft enig sierwerk in de vorm van rozetten en een kruis. De toegang wordt afgesloten door een ijzeren hek. Boven de rondboog is een keperboogvormige plaquette met de tekst: begraafplaats der familie W.F. Prinzen-Raymakers - In Spem Resurectionis. De geprofileerde kroonlijst volgt de vorm van de plaquette. De voorgevel wordt bekroond door een kruis.
Waardering
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van de katholieke grafcultuur in Zuid-Nederland en als herinnering aan een der leden van de maatschappelijke elite in de negentiende en vroege twintigste eeuw. Het heeft kunsthistorische waarde als representatief voorbeeld van de ateliermatige produktie van sculptuur. Het heeft ensemble waarde als onderdeel van de beide naast elkaar gelegen complexen van de hervormde en de katholieke begraafplaats.

Description
The grave monument is built in the form of a grave chapel. It is wholly constructed of sandstone and has a rectangular ground plan and a gabled roof. After a straight plinth follows a block-shaped worked section, with a wide decorative band which is closed as a setting stone at the round-arch entrance at the front. The front elevation has some ornamental work in the form of rosettes and a cross. The entrance is closed by an iron gate. Above the round arch is a herringbone-arch-shaped plaque with the text: burial place of the family W.F. Prinzen-Raymakers - In Spem Resurrectionis. The moulded cornice follows the form of the plaque. The front facade is crowned by a cross.
Valuation
The grave monument is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as testimony to Catholic funeral culture in South Netherlands and as a remembrance of one of the members of the social elite in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. It has art-historical value as a representative example of the workshop-like production of sculpture. It has ensemble value as part of both adjoining complexes of the Reformed and Catholic cemeteries.
