Inleiding
Hoge staande GRAFZERK voor M.W. van Glabbeek in Neo-Renaissance-stijl uit 1905, gelegen aan het hoofdpad ter linkerzijde.
Omschrijving
Het grafmonument bestaat uit een hoge sokkel, een sculptuur en is afgezet met bewerkte hardstenen paaltjes, waartussen schakelkettingen zijn gespannen.
De gelede en gewelfde hardstenen sokkel is voorzien van reliëfs van gestileerde bladeren en schelpvormen in Neorenaissance-stijl.
Op de onderste geleding staat in witte steen R.I.P. In het gewelfde middengedeelte staan de naam en levensdata van de overledene vermeld: Maria Wilhelmina van GLABBEEK / Weduwe van Antonius Godefr. RAYMAKERS geb. te Helmond 7 mei 1832 aldaar overl. 28 jan. 1905. Op de sokkel staat een sculptuur van kalksteen. Voor een ruw behakt kruis staat een engel met gespreide vleugels, de linkerhand bij het hart en in de rechterkant een kleine bloem.
Waardering
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van de katholieke grafcultuur in Zuid-Nederland en als herinnering aan een der leden van de maatschappelijke elite in de negentiende en vroege twintigste eeuw. Het heeft kunsthistorische waarde vanwege de voor een katholieke begraafplaats zeldzame Neo-renaissance stijl en de detaillering en is tevens van belang als representatief voorbeeld van de ateliermatige produktie van sculptuur. Het heeft ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van de beide naast elkaar gelegen complexen van de hervormde en katholieke begraafplaats.

Description
The grave monument consists of a tall base, a sculpture and is bordered by worked hardstone bollards, between which chain links are stretched.
The articulated and vaulted hardstone base is furnished with reliefs of stylised leaves and shell forms in Neo-Renaissance style.
On the lowest articulation stands in white stone R.I.P. In the vaulted central section are stated the name and dates of life of the deceased: Maria Wilhelmina van GLABBEEK / Widow of Antonius Godefr. RAYMAKERS born in Helmond 7 May 1832 died there 28 Jan. 1905. On the base stands a sculpture of limestone. In front of a roughly hewn cross stands an angel with spread wings, the left hand at the heart and in the right hand a small flower.
Valuation
The grave monument is of general interest. It has cultural-historical value as evidence of Catholic grave culture in South Netherlands and as a reminder of one of the members of the social elite in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. It has art-historical value because of the Neo-Renaissance style, rare for a Catholic burial ground, and the detailing and is also of importance as a representative example of the atelier-like production of sculpture. It has ensemble value as part of both adjacent complexes of the Reformed and Catholic burial ground.
