GRAFZERK voor het echtpaar Pistorius uit 1894 in Eclectische stijl.
Omschrijving
De hardstenen tombe wordt omringd door paaltjes met kettingen, op de voorzijde na, waar een knielbankje is geplaatst. De hoekzuiltjes van de tombe zijn uitgevoerd in marmer en graniet.
De zijden van de tombe met schuin oplopende dekplaat zijn voorzien van reliëfs, waaronder heilig harten in een ruitvorm.
Op een afgeronde sokkel is een kruis geplaatst die met een bloemenkrans omwonden is, en als tekst: R.I.P. Op de tombe staat: ter nagedachtenis aan onze dierbare ouders mev. Annette Aldegonde Maria Pistorius van der Velden / 1846-1894 / en den edelgroot achtbaren heer Julianus Albertus Pistorius oud lid der Prov.
Staten v. N. Brabant oud wethouder van Helmond 1841-1917 / Bonum Certamen Certavi.

Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Description
The sandstone tomb is surrounded by bollards with chains, except on the front, where a kneeling bench has been placed. The corner columns of the tomb are executed in marble and granite.
The sides of the tomb with sloping cover slab are provided with reliefs, including sacred hearts in a diamond shape.
On a rounded plinth is a cross which is wound with a flower garland, and the text: R.I.P. On the tomb stands: in memory of our dear parents Mrs. Annette Aldegonde Maria Pistorius van der Velden / 1846-1894 / and the honourable and esteemed gentleman Julianus Albertus Pistorius former member of the Provincial States of North Brabant former alderman of Helmond 1841-1917 / Bonum Certamen Certavi.
Valuation
The grave monument is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as testimony to Catholic grave culture in Southern Netherlands and as a reminder of one of the members of the social elite in the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
