Inleiding
Als deel van de parkaanleg van de historische buitenplaats gebouwde holronde TUINMUUR (circa 1882) waarvoor in oorsprong een holronde houten bank was geplaatst. De tuinmuur staat min of meer haaks op de westelijke duinhelling tussen het hoofdgebouw en de orangerie met de holronde kant in noordoostelijke richting. De halfronde houten bank werd na 1960 verplaatst naar het park van het landgoed Elswout.
Omschrijving
Halfronde tuinmuur met een hoogte van circa twee meter. De muur is gemetseld in rode baksteen en is aan de bovenzijde afgedekt met licht overstekende en holronde platen hardsteen. Het muurwerk wordt door lisenen ingedeeld in vijf holronde spaarvelden. De aanzet tot de holronde boog wordt geflankeerd door kort met hardsteen afgedekt muurwerk met daarin één spaarveld.
Waardering
De holronde tuinmuur in het park van het landgoed Duinlust is van algemeen belang uit cultuurhistorisch oogpunt en uit oogpunt van de geschiedenis van de tuinarchitectuur als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Duinlust.

Introduction
As part of the park layout of the historic country estate built semicircular GARDEN WALL (circa 1882) for which originally a semicircular wooden bench was placed. The garden wall stands more or less at right angles to the western dune slope between the main building and the orangery with the semicircular side facing north-east. The semicircular wooden bench was relocated after 1960 to the park of the estate Elswout.
Description
Semicircular garden wall with a height of approximately two metres. The wall is mortared of red brick and is covered at the top with lightly overhanging and semicircular plates of hard stone. The brickwork is divided by pilasters into five semicircular spanned fields. The springline of the semicircular arch is flanked by briefly hard-stone-capped brickwork with one spanned field therein.
Valuation
The semicircular garden wall in the park of the estate Duinlust is of general importance from a cultural-historical perspective and from the perspective of the history of garden architecture as a historic-functional component of the historic country estate Duinlust.
