Een ten noordoosten van het economiegebouw gelegen WERKPLAATS. Dit paviljoen maakte deel uit van een klein, carrévormig complex bestaande uit zes paviljoens.
De werkplaats heeft een langgerekte, rechthoekige plattegrond en bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. De gevels zijn in gele baksteen opgetrokken, waarin voornamelijk tweelichtsvensters met bovenlichten en deuren met bovenlichten zijn gezet. De houten kozijnen zijn voorzien van draairamen en in de bovenlichten zitten tuimelramen.
De voorgevel heeft een asymmetrische indeling en is elf vensterassen breed. Op de rechterhoek springt de gevel naar voren en is gevat onder een plaatselijk doorschietend dakschild.
De achtergevel heeft een meer gesloten karakter en springt op een aantal plaatsen naar voren, waarvan de middelste voorsprong onder een lager dakschild gevat is. Het dakschild heeft aan deze zijde (zuiden) een groter overstek. Onder de dakgoot zijn liggende tweelichtsvensters geplaatst. Aan deze zijde bevond zich een houten constructie met afzuigsysteem en reservoir die diende om het stof van de houtbewerking in de werkruimte af te zuigen en op te vangen. Deze is inmiddels verwijderd.
Waardering
Het gebouw is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als werkplaats van het sanatorium, alsmede van architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de paviljoenstructuur. Tevens vanwege de ruimtelijk-functionele en ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het complex.

A WORKSHOP located to the northeast of the economics building. This pavilion was part of a small, square-shaped complex consisting of six pavilions.
The workshop has an elongated, rectangular ground plan and consists of one storey under a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles. The facades are constructed of yellow brick, in which mainly two-light windows with fanlights and doors with fanlights are placed. The wooden windows are equipped with casement frames and in the fanlights are pivot windows.
The front facade has an asymmetrical arrangement and is eleven window bays wide. On the right corner the facade projects forward and is covered by a locally projecting roof shield.
The rear facade has a more closed character and projects forward at several places, of which the central projection is covered by a lower roof shield. The roof shield has a larger overhang on this side (south). Beneath the cornice are placed horizontal two-light windows. On this side was a wooden construction with extraction system and reservoir which served to extract and collect the dust from woodworking in the work space. This has since been removed.
