Omschrijving
Een aan het begin en aan de rechterzijde van de oprijlaan gelegen DIENSTWONING (administrateurswoning) van twee bouwlagen in Delftse schoolstijl op vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond. Het huis heeft een met riet gedekt zadeldak, waarvan de dakschilden aan de onderzijde een weinig uitzwenken. De in gele (sintel)baksteen opgetrokken gevels hebben voornamelijk ramen met stalen kozijnen.
De voor- of westgevel heeft rechts een onder een uit het dak doorgetrokken dakschild boven een uitbouw met twee vensterassen. Geheel rechts bevond zich een thans dichtgezette inpandige veranda. De getoogde opening heeft tegenwoordig een zesruitsvenster. De plint onder het raam is in een andere kleur baksteen gemetseld. Het venster links heeft een achtruitsindeling en een betonnen latei. Ter linkerzijde van dit venster springt de gevel terug. In het dakschild is een met riet gedekte dakkapel gezet.
De achtergevel heeft rechts een toegangsdeur onder hangende luifel. Geheel links, haaks op het hoofdvolume, is een smalle schuuraanbouw onder een met riet gedekt zadeldak.
De rechter zijgevel heeft drie vensterassen. Geheel links is een getoogd venster, oorspronkelijk als opening naar de hierboven beschreven veranda. Rechts hiervan is een dubbele tuindeur. De twee kleine vensters rechts zijn een latere wijziging. In de verdieping is rechts een inpandig balkon. De opening, waarvoor een ijzeren hekje is gezet, heeft aan de bovenzijde een getoogde strek. Geheel rechts sluit de gevel aan op de achtergevel van de schuuraanbouw.
De linker zijgevel is twee vensterassen breed. De top van de gevel loopt door in een schoorsteen.
Waardering
Het pand is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een bij een sanatorium behorende dienstwoning, alsmede vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als goed voorbeeld van een dienstwoning in Delftse Schoolstijl. Tevens van ruimtelijk-functionele en ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het complex Berg en Bosch.

A SERVICE RESIDENCE (administrator's residence) of two storeys in Delft School style, situated at the beginning and on the right side of the access drive, on an almost rectangular floor plan. The house has a gabled roof (saddle roof) covered in thatch, of which the roof pitches have a slight outward spread at the base. The facades constructed in yellow (cinder) brick have mainly windows with steel frames.
The front or west facade has to the right an extension with two window bays under a roof pitch drawn through from the roof. On the far right there was formerly an internal veranda which is now sealed up. The arched opening currently has a six-pane window. The plinth under the window is laid in a different colour brick. The window to the left has a rear-light arrangement and a concrete lintel. To the left of this window the facade steps back. In the roof pitch a roof dormer covered with thatch is placed.
The rear facade has to the right an entrance door under a suspended canopy. On the far left, perpendicular to the main volume, is a narrow shed extension under a gabled roof (saddle roof) covered with thatch.
The right side facade has three window bays. On the far left is an arched window, originally as an opening to the veranda described above. To the right of this is a double garden door. The two small windows to the right are a later alteration. On the upper floor to the right is an internal balcony. The opening, for which an iron railing is placed, has an arched lintel at the top. On the far right the facade connects to the rear facade of the shed extension.
The left side facade is two window bays wide. The apex of the facade continues into a chimney.
