Het in kruisverband gemetselde, bakstenen pand is opgetrokken op samengestelde plattegrond en telt twee bouwlagen onder een met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pan gedekt afgeplat schilddak. Het pand is grotendeels onderkelderd. De gevels hebben een hoge gepleisterde plint, gepleisterde, uitstekende hoekblokken en op de begane grond gepleisterde speklagen. De borstwering van de verdieping is gemarkeerd met een gepleisterde waterlijst met daaronder siermetselwerk in de vorm van kruisen van gele baksteen op een bruinroze achtergrond. De vensters en deuren hebben een brede geprofileerde gepleisterde omlijsting en zijn, voor zover niet anders vermeld, enkelruits. De bovenlichten hebben vrijwel allen imitatie glas-in-lood. De gevels worden afgesloten met een hoofdgestel, waarvan de kroonlijst is uitgevoerd als houten geprofileerde bakgoot op mutules.
De VOORGEVEL heeft rechts een risalerend bouwdeel met op de begane grond een rijk geprofileerde gepleisterde rechthoekige erker met in het voorvlak een drielicht met bovenlichten. Boven de erker een balkon met geprofileerde houten balustrade, toegankelijk door een stolpdeur met bovenlicht. Links bevat de gevel op de begane grond een veranda met bakstenen zijwand en zinken roevendak op ranke rijk geprofileerde houten stijlen. De veranda is toegankelijk via een stolpdeur met boven- en zijlichten in een geprofileerde gepleisterde omlijsting. De veranda draagt een balkon met geprofileerde houten balustrade, toegankelijk via een deur met enkelruits zijlicht links en bovenlichten in een geprofileerde gepleisterde omlijsting. Het voordakvlak heeft links een kleine dakkapel met venster en zinken steekkap en rechts een grotere dakkapel met stolpraam en gedeeld bovenlicht, omlijst met een bewerkt fronton op pilasters.
De LINKER ZIJGEVEL heeft rechts een rislarend gedeelte. Dit deel bevat op de begane grond links een venster bezet met meerkleurig glas-in-lood, dat aan de binnenzijde is dichtgemetseld, en rechts een T-venster. De verdieping heeft rechts een T-venster. Het terugliggende deel van de gevel heeft op de begane grond een tweelicht bezet met meerkleurig glas-in-lood en op de verdieping een venster met gewijzigde indeling.
De ACHTERGEVEL heeft links een risalerend bouwdeel. Rechts daarvan is de gevel op de begane grond uitgebouwd. De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL heeft rechts een sterk risalerend bouwdeel. In de oksel bevindt zich een hoog opgaande gepleisterde achthoekige toren met naaldspits belegd met shingles. De gevel heeft links op de begane grond een venster met gewijzigde indeling en op de verdieping een T-venster. De toren bevat op de begane grond een portiek met hoofdentree, aan twee zijden open en ontlast met een rondboog. De verdieping heeft een schuifvenster met bovenlicht en de top twee smalle vensters. De begane grond van het risalerende deel is gewijzigd in 1964, de verdieping heet twee T-vensters. De voorgevel van het risalerende deel heeft op de begane grond een venster met gewijzigde indeling en op de verdieping een schuifvenster met bovenlicht.
Het INTERIEUR bevat onder meer paneeldeuren, in de neorenaissancestijl geornamenteerde stucplafonds, schuifluiken en een trap met gedraaide balusters en een rijk geprofileerde trappaal. De ornamenten van de stucplafonds zijn zeer waarschijnlijk afkomstig van het Atelier Silberling & Zoon te Amsterdam.
Het pand is gelegen in een ruime tuin, aan de straatzijde begrensd met een eenvoudig smeedijzeren spijlenhek met gietijzeren hekpijler.

The brick building, built in cross-bond, is erected on a compound ground plan and comprises two storeys under a mansard roof with smothered improved Dutch tile covering. The building is largely cellared. The facades have a high rendered plinth, rendered projecting corner blocks and on the ground floor rendered ashlar courses. The windows and doors have broad moulded rendered frames and are, where not otherwise stated, single-glazed. The fanlights are almost all fitted with imitation leaded glass. The facades are completed with a cornice, of which the cornice is executed as wooden moulded gutter on mutules.
The FRONT FACADE has on the right a projecting section with on the ground floor a richly moulded rendered rectangular bay window with in the front face a three-light with fanlights. Above the bay window a balcony with moulded wooden balustrade, accessible through a half-hipped door with fanlight. The front facade of the projecting section has on the ground floor a window with modified glazing bars and on the first floor a sash window with fanlight.
The INTERIOR contains, among other features, panelled doors, stucco ceilings ornamented in the neo-Renaissance style, sliding shutters and a staircase with turned balusters and a richly moulded handrail. The ornaments of the stucco ceilings are very probably from the Atelier Silberling & Zoon in Amsterdam.
The building is situated in a spacious garden, bounded on the street side with a simple wrought-iron railed fence with a cast-iron fence pier.
