Inleiding
HERENHUIS gebouwd in 1863 in Eclectische stijl met spijlen HEKWERK waarin hardstenen penanten en een met het rechter pand verbonden gepleisterde MUUR met poortje.

Links vrijstaand, in de rooilijn gelegen pand van drie bouwlagen op souterrain. Hoofdmassa met vierkante plattegrond en tussen tuitgevels ingeklemd pannen zadeldak met nok evenwijdig aan de straat. Alle gevels witgepleisterd op hardstenen plint met hoekpilasters met verdiepte velden. De voorgevel is vier traveeën breed met door pilasters waarin casementen afgescheiden rechter travee. Souterrain in hardstenen plint, voorts gepleisterd met schijnvoegen en reeks diamantkoppen onder de vensters van de bel-etage die is gescheiden van het souterrain door een brede lijst. Op de verdieping met Franse balkons. Alle vensters hebben ronde geprofileerde lijsten, waarbij de vensters van de tweede bouwlaag met een extra geprofileerde lijst met kuif zijn uitgevoerd, in de rechter travee een groot balkon op rijk bewerkte consoles. De derde bouwlaag heeft kleinere vensters met een klein balkon voor het venster in de rechter travee.
De linker zijgevel heeft een gepleisterde uitbouw over twee bouwlagen met - vernieuwde - trap en venster, afgesloten door kroonlijst.
Traditionele interieurplattegrond met voor- en achterkamers. Kap met schenkelspanten. Afwerking alleen nog aanwezig in souterrain, onder andere met diverse stucplafonds, eierlijsten, ingang met glas-in-lood tochtdeur en koperen en messing trapleuningen. Rechts van de hoofdmassa en witgepleisterd poortje. Voorts een eenvoudig ijzeren hekwerk en hardstenen, bewerkte hekpalen.

Herenhuis en hekwerk en muur met poortje, van algemeen belang vanwege architectuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van in eclectische bouwstijl opgetrokken woonhuis. Tevens van stedenbouwkundig belang als onderdeel van een karakteristieke negentiende eeuwse singelbebouwing.

Left freestanding building located on the building line with three storeys above basement. Main mass with square ground plan and between spout gables clamped tile gabled roof with ridge parallel to the street. All facades whitewashed on stone plinth with corner pilasters with recessed panels. The front facade is four bays wide with right bay separated by pilasters containing casements. Basement in stone plinth, otherwise plastered with faux joints and row of diamond decoration beneath the windows of the principal floor which is separated from the basement by a broad moulding. On the first floor with French balconies. All windows have round moulded frames, with the windows of the second storey executed with an additional moulded frame with hood moulding, in the right bay a large balcony on richly worked consoles. The third storey has smaller windows with a small balcony in front of the window in the right bay.
The left side facade has a plastered projecting section over two storeys with renewed stair and window, closed off by cornice.
Traditional interior floor plan with front and rear rooms. Roof truss with collar tie trusses. Finish only still present in basement, including various stucco ceilings, egg-and-dart moulding, entrance with glass-in-lead draught door and copper and brass stair railings. To the right of the main mass a simple plastered small gate. Furthermore simple iron ironwork and worked stone gateposts.
