Tien geschakelde DIENSTWONINGEN uit 1905, onderdeel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex in en om het Merwedekanaal, gelegen aan de noordzijde van het omleidingskanaal. Het bouwblok is uitgelegd op een nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond, opgetrokken in baksteen, één bouwlaag onder een tussen topgevels gevat, doorlopend zadeldak met betonpan belegd. De nok is evenwijdig aan de straat geplaatst. De woningen hebben voor-en achtertuinen die door een gemetseld muurtje, aan de straatzijde met buisframe, van het trottoir worden gescheiden.
De gevelopeningen in de voorgevel worden alle door een met siermetselwerk ingevuld boogveld door een rondboog afgesloten en worden onderling verbonden door een sierband ter hoogte van de boven- en onderdorpels van de ramen. Rechts van het midden van de voorgevel komt een van siermetselwerk voorzien licht risalerend gevelvlak voor, deel uitmakend van een woning met directiekamer. Dit gevelvlak is uitgevoerd met een als trapgevel eindigende Vlaamse gevel, ter plaatse van de verdiepingsvloer voorzien van een sierband (meandermotief). In het dakschild zijn diverse dakkapellen opgenomen.

Ten semi-detached SERVICE DWELLINGS from 1905, forming part of the lock complex in and around the Merwedekanaal, located on the north side of the diversion canal. The building block is laid out on a substantially rectangular plan, built in brick, one storey under a continuous gabled roof between gable ends, covered with concrete tiles. The ridge is placed parallel to the street. The dwellings have front and rear gardens that are separated from the pavement by a brick wall, on the street side with tube frame.
The wall openings in the front facade are all closed by an arch field filled in with decorative brickwork by a rounded arch and are interconnected by a decorative band at the level of the upper and lower sills of the windows. To the right of the centre of the front facade comes a slightly projecting facade section furnished with decorative brickwork, part of a dwelling with a director's office. This facade section is executed with a Flemish gable ending as a stepped gable, at the level of the floor furnished with a decorative band (meander motif). Diverse roof dormers are incorporated in the roof slope.
