Omschrijving
Twee geschakelde, op een omheind terrein gelegen SCHOTBALKLOODSEN, onderdeel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex in en om het Merwedekanaal, op rechthoekige plattegrond, in hout opgetrokken, onder twee aan elkaar evenwijdig maar haaks op de weg geplaatste zadeldaken tussen topgevels, belegd met gesmoorde kruispan. Beide loodsen zijn opgetrokken met hoofdzakelijk horizontale plankdelen. Van de twee loodsen bezit alleen de linker een met verticale plankdelen ingevulde topgevel. De linker zijgevel bestaat overigens uit niet in verband geplaatste verticale plankdelen met een zich herhalend raamwerk van X- en O-vormige patronen.
Waardering
Schotbalkloodsen van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als typologisch herkenbaar onderdeel van een bewaarplaats van materieel. Van ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het sluizencomlex in het Merwedekanaal.

Two semi-detached, located on an enclosed site SHOT-RAIL SHEDS, forming part of the lock complex in and around the Merwedekanaal, on rectangular plan, built in wood, under two gabled roofs placed parallel to each other but at right angles to the road, between gable ends, covered with smothered clay tiles. Both sheds are built with mainly horizontal planks. Of the two sheds only the left one has a gable end filled in with vertical planks. The left side facade otherwise consists of non-bonded vertical planks with a repeating framework of X- and O-shaped patterns.
Valuation
Shot-rail sheds of general importance due to their cultural-historical value as a typologically recognisable component of a storage facility for materials. Of ensemble value as part of the lock complex in the Merwedekanaal.
