Omschrijving
TUINVAZEN. Aangenomen wordt dat de vier 18de-eeuwse gietijzeren tuinvazen net als de zonnewijzer oorspronkelijk deel uitmaakten van de formele aanleg op het voorterrein van de state. Na de herinrichting van het terrein ten westen van het huiseiland zijn ze op symmetrische wijze in de hoeken van de siertuin opgesteld. De vazen hebben dezelfde opzet. Het zijn wijde ronde vaten op een voet met een gelobde buik, daarboven tussen geprofileerde ringen een zone met decoratie in hoogreliëf en aan weerszijden grote oren in de vorm van zeemonsters.

Description
GARDEN URNS. It is assumed that the four 18th-century cast-iron garden urns, like the sundial, originally formed part of the formal layout in the front courtyard of the estate. After the rearrangement of the area to the west of the house island they were arranged symmetrically in the corners of the ornamental garden. The urns have the same design. They are wide round vessels on a base with a lobed belly, above this between profiled rings a zone with decoration in high relief and on both sides large handles in the form of sea monsters.
