Omschrijving onderdeel 5: TUINBEELD VOORSTELLENDE NEPTUNUS
In de overtuin staat in het gazon een vroeg-achttiende-eeuws stenen beeld voorstellende de zeegod Neptunus met drietand. Het werd hier omstreeks 1915 naar idee van L.A. Springer opgesteld. Voordien stond het achter het huis bij de toenmalige goudvisvijver. Het beeld, dat vermoedelijk via verkoping, op Lyndenstein terecht is gekomen, is gesigneerd IVL, de initialen van de Amsterdamse beeldhouwer Ignatius van Logteren.

Het tuinbeeld voorstellende Neptunus is van belang:

Description component 5: GARDEN STATUE DEPICTING NEPTUNE
In the back garden stands in the lawn an early eighteenth-century stone statue depicting the sea god Neptune with trident. It was set up here around 1915 at the instigation of L.A. Springer. Previously it stood behind the house at the then goldfish pond. The statue, which presumably came to Lyndenstein through sale, is signed IVL, the initials of the Amsterdam sculptor Ignatius van Logteren.
Valuation
The garden statue depicting Neptune is of importance:
