BOERDERIJ 'T HOGELAND. Aan de Staphorsterweg ten westen van het hoofdgebouw staat op een 14de-eeuwse bouwplaats eertijds behorend tot de kloostergoederen, de bakstenen boerderij 't Hogeland uit ca. 1600 met stal en aangebouwde 19de-eeuwse houten wagenschuur. Het muurwerk van het woonhuis en de stal is recent vernieuwd of opnieuw opgetrokken. De op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken boerderij bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een hoogopgaand met riet gedekt wolfdak met toef en gemetselde schoorsteen aan de voorzijde. De voorgevel van het woongedeelte is regelmatig ingedeeld: links de toegangsdeur en rechts daarvan twee zesruitsvensters met luiken en een kleiner meerruitsvenster. De zijgevels van de stal hebben afwisselend halfronde stalvensters en opgeklampte mestdeuren; aan de achterzijde een onderschoer met dubbele inrijdeuren; 18de-eeuws dekbalkgebint; keienbestrating rondom. De aangebouwde gepotdekselde schuur staat op een bakstenen plint onder een rieten wolfdak; aan een zijde deels pannen.

Description
FARMHOUSE 'T HOGELAND. On the Staphorsterweg to the west of the main building stands on a 14th-century building site formerly belonging to the monastery lands, the brick farmhouse 't Hogeland from circa 1600 with stable and adjoining 19th-century wooden waggon shed. The masonry of the dwelling house and stable has recently been renewed or rebuilt. The farmhouse, erected on a rectangular ground plan, consists of one storey under a tall reed-thatched half-hipped roof with tuft and brick chimney at the front. The front gable of the dwelling section is regularly divided: on the left the entrance door and to the right of it two six-pane windows with shutters and a smaller multi-pane window. The side gables of the stable have alternating semi-circular stable windows and fastened dung doors; on the rear side an undercroft with double carriage doors; 18th-century roof-beam frame; stone paving all around. The adjoining potsherd-covered shed stands on a brick plinth under a reed half-hipped roof; on one side partly tiled.
