Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Dickninge. Aan het begin van de met eiken beplante oprijlaan naar Huis Dickninge staat een hek van twee vierkante bruinrood-bakstenen pijlers van verschillende hoogte en met inspringende hoeken op hardstenen basement en afgedekt door een geprofileerde verkropte hardstenen afdekking. Op de binnenste (en hoogste) pijlers de opschriften DICKNINGE en ANNO 1817. Tussen de pijlers een eenvoudig lichtgebogen ijzeren spijlenhek.

Description
ACCESS GATE belonging to the historic country estate Dickninge. At the beginning of the oak-lined approach drive to Huis Dickninge stands a gate consisting of two square brownish-red brick pillars of different height with recessed corners on a sandstone base and topped by a profiled shouldered sandstone coping. On the inner (and highest) pillars the inscriptions DICKNINGE and ANNO 1817. Between the pillars a simple gently curved iron railing gate.
