Waardering

Valuation

The R.C. Church of Saint Anthony of Padua is of cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a spiritual development namely the Catholic religion. The church possesses architectural-historical value because of its particular significance for the supra-regional history of architecture, for the early oeuvre of architect Alphons Boosten, because of the particularly noteworthy inventory and fittings. There is a matter of historical-stylistic significance because church, fittings and inventory together date from the same (short) period of origin. The church is finally of general importance on the grounds of its architectural-historical value and the architectural integrity of exterior and interior.
