Omschrijving onderdeel 15: BOERDERIJ 'ABTSBOUWING'.
Nabij het hoofdgebouw ligt een in oorsprong middeleeuwse boerderij, waarvan het voorhuis in circa 1960 is verkleind en uitwendig beklampt. Het op het zuidoosten georiënteerde voorhuis bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder een met riet gedekte kap; in de zuidoostgevel de toegangsdeur en vernieuwde meerruits vensters. Middeleeuwse kelder. Haaks op het woonhuis sluit een 16de-eeuwse stal aan. De op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken stal is opgebouwd uit kloostermoppen met een eiken gebint onder een met riet gedekt wolfdak. De achtergevel met zwart geschilderde plint heeft een baander geflankeerd door staldeuren. De boerderij staat op de kadastrale minuut van omstreeks 1830.

De BOERDERIJ 'ABTSBOUWING', behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Mariënwaerdt, is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:

Description
Description component 15: FARMHOUSE 'ABTSBOUWING'.
Near the main building stands a farmhouse of medieval origin, of which the front house was reduced and externally boarded over circa 1960. The front house oriented to the southeast consists of two storeys under a roof covered with thatch; in the southeast facade the entrance door and renewed multi-light windows. Medieval cellar. Perpendicular to the dwelling house adjoins a 16th-century stable. The stable erected on a rectangular ground plan is built of brick with an oak roof truss structure under a half-hipped roof covered with thatch. The rear facade with a black-painted plinth has a cart door flanked by stable doors. The farmhouse appears on the cadastral map of around 1830.
