Omschrijving
Als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex Rosehaghe gebouwd WONINGBLOK bestaande uit dertien woningen aan de zuidzijde van de Kopsstraat. Dit aaisymmetrische blok staat op langwerpig grondplan dat door onregelmatige afwisseling van vooruitspringende en terugliggende onderdelen aan voorzijde (straatzijde) en achterzijde slingerend van karakter is. Dit blok heeft aan de straatzijde vier risalieten met ononderbroken gootlijst en komt in zoverre overeen met het blok aan Brouwerskade 79-85. Afwijkend is echter dat tussen de eerste risaliet vanaf de Hoofmanstraat en de derde risaliet vanaf de Anslijnstraat een vooruitspringend gevelgedeelte ter breedte van zeven vensterassen is geplaatst waarin zich in oorsprong drie winkels bevonden. Dit gevelgedeelte is net als de risalieten hoger dan de terugliggende partijen. Binnen het complex betreft het hier het langste ononderbroken gevelvlak. Het biedt ruimte aan vier woningen. Afwijkend van de overige blokken is ook dat de voordeuren naar de vier betreffende woningen zich evenwijdig in plaats van haaks op de straatrichting bevinden. Ook zijn er geen over de hoeken geplaatste vensters. Deze vensters bevinden zich weer wel in het volume dat een trapsgewijze overgang vormt tussen de terugliggende partijen en het brede vooruitspringende gevelvlak.

Description
As part of the housing complex Rosehaghe built HOUSING BLOCK consisting of thirteen dwellings on the south side of Kopsstraat. This asymmetrical block stands on an elongated ground plan which, through irregular alternation of projecting and recessed components on the front (street side) and rear, is serpentine in character. This block has four risalits with unbroken gutter line on the street side and corresponds in this respect to the block at Brouwerskade 79-85. Deviating, however, is that between the first risalit from Hoofmanstraat and the third risalit from Anslijnstraat a projecting facade section seven window bays wide has been placed in which originally three shops were located. This facade section, like the risalits, is higher than the recessed sections. Within the complex this concerns the longest unbroken facade plane. It provides space for four dwellings. Deviating from the other blocks is also that the front doors to the four relevant dwellings are positioned parallel rather than at right angles to the street direction. Also there are no windows placed across the corners. These windows are found instead in the volume that forms a stepped transition between the recessed sections and the broad projecting facade plane.
