Omschrijving
Als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex "Onder Dak" gebouwde DUBBELE WONING, gelegen aan de oostzijde van het woningbouwcomplex op de hoek van de Kleverlaan en de Engelszstraat. De voorgevel van de dubbele woning is pal op het kruispunt Kleverlaan, Marnixstraat, Velserstraat en Engelszstraat gericht.
De symmetrisch opgezette dubbele woning heeft een onregelmatig grondplan en bestaat uit een begane grond, verdieping en kapverdieping. Het pand wordt in hoofdvorm gedekt door een schilddak met wolfseinden. In het oostelijk dakschild bevindt zich een oorspronkelijke dakkapel. Langs de zijgevels is het pand ter weerszijden uitgebouwd met een één bouwlaag hoge aanbouw die eindigt in een puntgevel onder steil zadeldak. De gevel van de aanbouw wordt gemarkeerd door een robuuste bakstenen schoorsteen op de hoek. De voorgevel van de dubbele woning bezit een tweetal bay-windows die doorlopen tot over de verdieping. In deze voorgevel bevindt zich in het midden ter hoogte van de verdieping een natuurstenen gedenksteen met de tekst: "HAARLEM, 1921-1922, 52 Woningen der Coöperatieve Woningvereeniging "ONDER DAK", J. Roodenburgh architect".
De vensters in de zijgevels van de dubbele woning bezitten ter weerszijden luiken. De voordeuren van de twee woningen bevinden zich in de zijgevel en liggen in een portiek verdiept dat zich ter hoogte van de uitbouw bevindt. Het muurwerk ter hoogte van de portiek is plastisch vormgegeven.

The front facade of the semi-detached dwelling faces directly onto the intersection of Kleverlaan, Marnixstraat, Velserstraat and Engelszstraat.
The symmetrically arranged semi-detached dwelling has an irregular ground plan and consists of a ground floor, first floor and roof storey. The building is covered in its main form by a hipped roof with half-hipped ends. In the eastern roof slope there is an original roof dormer. Along the side facades the building is extended on either side with a one-storey high extension that ends in a pointed gable under a steep gabled roof. The facade of the extension is marked by a robust brick chimney on the corner. The front facade of the semi-detached dwelling has two bay-windows that continue up over the first floor. In this front facade there is located in the middle at the height of the first floor a natural stone memorial stone with the text: "HAARLEM, 1921-1922, 52 Dwellings of the Cooperative Housing Association "ONDER DAK", J. Roodenburgh architect".
The windows in the side facades of the semi-detached dwelling have shutters on either side. The front doors of the two dwellings are located in the side facade and are set back in a porch situated at the height of the extension. The masonry at the height of the porch is plastically shaped.
