Inleiding
VILLA, hoofdonderdeel van het complex "Lindelaan 11", gebouwd in eclectische bouwtrant in het laatste kwart van de 19de eeuw. De villa is vrijstaand en terugliggend gesitueerd op een terrein aan de westzijde van de Lindelaan in de villawijk Het Spiegel.
NB: De uitbouw aan de zuid- en westzijde vallen buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Villa, opgetrokken op een vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond met serre aan de noordzijde en uitbouw aan de zuid- en westzijde, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen en kapverdieping onder een afgeknot schilddak, bedekt met zwarte kruispannen. De villa heeft wit gepleisterde gevels, elk drie vensterassen breed. De gevels zijn horizontaal geleed door middel van incisies, als waren het speklagen, een gekorniste lijst ter hoogte van de plint (behalve aan de westzijde), twee gekorniste lijsten ter hoogte van de verdiepingscheiding (behalve aan de westzijde) en een hoofdgestel met tandlijst. De gevels zijn vertikaal geleed door middel van pilasters nabij de hoeken van de gevels. De pilasters ter hoogte van de begane grond dragen, samen met consoles boven de sluitstenen van de segmentbogen boven de vensters, de onderste gekorniste lijst ter hoogte van de verdiepingscheiding, de pilasters ter hoogte van de verdieping de architraaf. Aan de noord- oost- en zuidzijde wordt de middelste as geaccentueerd door op de begane grond een uitgebouwde entree (oost), een uitgebouwde serre (noord) en pilasters (zuid); op de verdieping met een naar voren komend geveldeel, geflankeerd door pilasters; en in het dakvlak met een dakkapel met stolpramen tussen pilasters die een hoofdgestel met tandlijst dragen en wangen met schelpmotief, onder een bolvormig tentdak met piron en windvaan. Het achterdakvlak (west) heeft een dakkapel onder plat dak.
De voorgevel (O) bevat op de begane grond in het midden de rechthoekig uitgebouwde entreepartij. De toegangsdeur met zijlichten en getoogde bovenlichten zijn in een houten gesneden kozijn gevat, evenals de vensters met middenstijl en rondboogvormig bovenlicht in de zijgevels. Rondbogen, gedragen door balusters sieren de onderzijde van de zijlichten en vensters. De ramen zijn gekleurde glas-in-loodramen. Links en rechts is een venster met segmentvormig bovenlicht geplaatst. Het linker venster bevat een gebrandschilderd raam. Boven de ingangspartij bevindt zich een balkon, bereikbaar via een deur met bovenlicht en omgeven door een sierlijk gesmeed hek tussen houten pijlers met pijnappel-bekroning. Rechts is een venster met segmentvormig bovenlicht geplaatst. Boven de serre bevindt zich een balkon, bereikbaar via een deur met bovenlicht en omgeven door een sierlijk gesmeed hek tussen houten pijlers met pijnappel-bekroning. Op de verdieping is links en rechts een blind rond venster met geprofileerde randen aangebracht.

Villa, erected on an approximately rectangular floor plan with conservatory on the north side and extensions on the south and west sides, consisting of two storeys and a roof storey under a truncated hipped roof, covered with black interlocking tiles. The villa has white plastered facades, each three window bays wide. The facades are horizontally articulated by means of incisions, as if they were brick courses, a corniced moulding at the height of the plinth (except on the west side), two corniced mouldings at the height of the storey division (except on the west side) and a main entablature with dentil moulding. The facades are vertically articulated by means of pilasters near the corners of the facades. The pilasters at the height of the ground floor, together with consoles above the voussoirs of the segmental arches above the windows, bear the lower corniced moulding at the height of the storey division, the pilasters at the height of the first floor the architrave.
