Het H. Hartbeeld is in 1926 gegoten door J. Dechin uit Ermenonvillers.
Omschrijving
Bronzen beeld van het Heilig Hart van Jezus, op een meegegoten bolle voet. De staande Christus draagt het brandend hart op de borst en spreidt de armen uit. Op de voet kelk en doornenkroon in reliëf met de tekst "Sacre Coeur de Jesus Roi des Familles" en de naam van de gieterij. Het beeld is geplaatst op een latere betonnen sokkel, in een hoek van het ommuurde kerkterrein.
Waardering
Het H. Hartmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de H. Hartdevotie, het is tevens van belang als voorbeeld van een uit het buitenland geïmporteerd beeld. Het heeft kunsthistorisch belang als voorbeeld van het werk van het atelier Dechin. On the base chalice and crown of thorns in relief with the text "Sacre Coeur de Jesus Roi des Familles" and the name of the foundry. The statue is placed on a later concrete plinth, in a corner of the walled church precinct.
