Omschrijving
KANTOOR/LABORATORIUM/MELKONTVANGST. Het traditionele gebouw op I-vormige plattegrond is opgetrokken in bruine baksteen onder een met zwarte Friese golfpannen gedekt zadeldak. Tussenlid met twee bouwlagen. Gevels met gemetseld trasraam, lisenen en fries. Topgevels met natuurstenen dekplaten en brede tuit met gepleisterde bloktand en bekroond met geknikte dekplaat.
In de voorgevel is een rechthoekige gepleisterde plaquette met het opschrift: 'Coöperatieve Stoomzuivelfabriek Trynwâlden' in vergulde letters in dieptereliëf. Aan weerszijden daarvan ruitvormige gepleisterde velden met de tekst 'Anno 1921'. Het kantoorgedeelte heeft driedubbele vensters met wit geschilderde natuurstenen onderdorpels en vierruits bovenlichten onder strekken. In de zuidgevel vormt een dubbele geverniste paneeldeur met vierruits bovenlicht onder houten luifel de toegang tot het kantoor. In de zijgevels zijn meerruits begane grond- en verdiepingsvensters van verschillend formaat. Tegen de noordgevel is een betonnen laadplatform onder een houten luifel op ijzeren kolommen. Een ijzeren trap leidt naar de verdiepingsdeur. De zij- en achtergevels van de melkontvangst in het achterste gedeelte van het gebouw zijn grotendeels vernieuwd.
Tussen dit gebouw en het bedrijfsgedeelte van het hoofdgebouw is een brug bestaande uit een deels gedicht houten raamwerk op een ijzeren spant. Over deze brug liepen oorspronkelijk de leidingen van het wei- en karnemelklokaal naar het karn- en centrifugelokaal.
Waardering
Het kantoor/laboratorium en melkontvangst van Trynwâlden uit 1921 is van algemeen belang:

OFFICE/LABORATORY/MILK RECEPTION. The traditional building on I-shaped plan is erected in brown brick under a gabled roof covered with black Frisian corrugated tiles. Intermediate section with two storeys. Facades with brick transom window, pilasters and frieze. Gabled tops with natural stone cover plates and broad spout with block render and crowned with pitched cover plate.
In the front facade is a rectangular plastered plaque with the inscription: 'Coöperatieve Stoomzuivelfabriek Trynwâlden' in gilt letters in deep relief. On either side thereof diamond-shaped plastered fields with the text 'Anno 1921'. The office section has triple windows with white-painted natural stone sills and four-pane fanlights under arches. In the south facade a double varnished panelled door with four-pane fanlight under wooden canopy forms the entrance to the office. In the side facades are multi-pane ground and first floor windows of varying size. Against the north facade is a concrete loading platform under a wooden canopy on iron columns. An iron staircase leads to the first-floor door. The side and rear facades of the milk reception in the rear section of the building are largely renewed.
Between this building and the business section of the main building is a bridge consisting of a partly closed timber framework on an iron beam. Originally pipes from the whey and buttermilk room ran over this bridge to the churn and centrifuge room.
Valuation
The office/laboratory and milk reception of Trynwâlden from 1921 is of general importance:
