Omschrijving
TOEGANGSBRUG. Tussen het voorplein en het voorterrein van het huis een toegangsbrug bestaande uit een houten dek met aan weerszijden een eenvoudige 19de-eeuwse houten balustrade. De toegang van de brug aan de voorpleinzijde wordt gemarkeerd door bakstenen sokkels bekroond door zandstenen (geschilderde) leeuwen met wapenschild. De leeuwen zijn afkomstig van Borg Dijksterhuis te Pieterburen en tussen 1921-1927 hier geplaatst. Aan de zijde van het huis wordt de brug eveneens gemarkeerd door bakstenen sokkels bekroond door zandstenen ornamenten in de vorm van een kussen liggend op een rechthoekige plaat met de inscriptie 'anno' '1684'. Er bevinden zich nog twee dergelijke 'kussens' op de achterparterre in de aanleg.

ACCESS BRIDGE. Between the forecourt and the fore-terrace of the house an access bridge consisting of a wooden deck with on either side a simple 19th-century wooden balustrade. The access to the bridge on the forecourt side is marked by brick plinths crowned by sandstone (painted) lions with heraldic shield. The lions are from Borg Dijksterhuis at Pieterburen and were placed here between 1921-1927. On the side of the house the bridge is likewise marked by brick plinths crowned by sandstone ornaments in the form of a cushion lying on a rectangular plate with the inscription 'anno' '1684'. There are still two such 'cushions' on the rear parterre in the layout.
